Entrepreneur in Me: Summer Takeover is a FREE summer program for rising 9th and 10th graders, designed to combine academic support, mentorship, and hands-on career exploration. This experience empowers youth to grow academically, discover real-world opportunities, and build confidence in who they are becoming.

Students will receive support in Math and ELA to strengthen their academic performance and confidence. Through daily mentorship, participants will develop leadership skills, build character, and learn the importance of teamwork while connecting with new peers from across Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties.

What makes this program unique is its hands-on exposure to a wide range of career pathways and activities. Students will explore entrepreneurship, boxing and physical fitness, the auto industry, cosmetology, customization (apparel, shoes, and products), and media, including videography, photography, and influencer content. Additional experiences include cooking, dance, music, drones, gaming, and more.

This program goes beyond what’s listed, offering continuous opportunities to explore new interests, gain real-world skills, and discover their full potential in a supportive environment.

To support families, the program is completely free and includes daily breakfast and lunch, as well as transportation, ensuring every student has access and is ready to fully participate.
